Instructor-led fitness classes at Castle

At Castle Leisure Centre we have two fitness studios and a dedicated indoor cycling (spin) studio. We provide an extensive range of instructor-led classes suitable for all abilities. Class types include:

  • Conditioning (a whole body work out) and dance (fun fitness with easy-to-follow steps and movements)
  • High energy  (mood boosting exercise that increases the heart rate)
  • Indoor cycling (rhythmic intense exercise using spin bikes)
  • Classes for mind and body (designed to improve physical strength, flexibility and helps manage stress)
  • Water-based (working against the resistance of water to improve muscle tone, strength and stamina)
  • Wellbeing classes (a gentler form of exercise)

Gentle exercise for wellbeing and Les Mills and My Ride virtual classes are also offered at Castle.

Taking part in a fitness class at Castle

  • Pre-book online (recommended) or on arrival at the centre
  • Members can book up to 7 days in advance
  • Pay as you go customers can book up to 5 days in advance
